The architectural design of the Ark was
passed directly to Moses on Mt. Sinai by Yahweh, God of the
Hebrews. Moses then appointed the craftsman named Bezaleel the son of
Uri, and nephew of Moses, to carry out the ark's construction. Using the
gold, silver, brass, acacia wood, and precious stones provided by the
Israelites as a token peace offering to their God Yahweh. (Exodus 35
29-35)
The dimensions of the Ark are stated in
Exodus as being two and a half cubits in length, one cubit and a half in
breadth and one cubit and a half for the height. Made of acacia wood,
overlaid with gold within and without, and containing the sacred tablets
of the Law delivered to Moses upon Mount Sinai. The lid of the Ark (two
and a half by one and a half cubits) was made of solid gold upon which
were two gold Cherubim facing each other, with wings arched above,
integrally beaten from the same piece of gold that formed the 2.8 ton
solid gold lid. It was upon this mercy seat and between the Cherubim that
Yahweh appeared in the form of the Shekinah, a bright iridescent
light. The Cherubim are often mentioned in the
Scriptures and innumerable disputes have arisen in regards of their actual
derivation. Cherubs or the plural Cherubims appear in a number of biblical texts (See Ezekiel 28:14). Alternatively, they are mentioned as the vehicle of God's presence. "And He rides the Cherub and flies off" (Psalms 18:11, see also Ezek. 9:3 and Ps. 80:2) Further numerous Biblical texts also refer to God as "the One who dwells on [or rides] the Cherubim Then in the holy book of the Talmud the cherubim are equated with the order of wheels. By virtue of these facts and in all probability the word 'cherubim' is an identity used by the Israelites in Biblical times to describe a divine levitating or flying vehicle, not possessing any visible sign of support. A further example of the ancients visualization of their known universe can be seen in the image of the ancient Egyptian winged sun disk.

The ancient Egyptians used this pictorial ideogram to describe how the
sun acrossed the sky, by flying exactly in the manner of a bird, but in
their reality using divine wings. Similarly the biblical narrative
explains the amazing levitating powers of the Ark using the analogy of two
gold inanimate winged Cherubim, endowed with the divine power of G-d. Flavius Josephus, Antiquities of the Jews Book VIII

A modern academic derivation of the word cherubim by Bibleorigins states:- 'Not generally known to the public at large is that
Cherubim have been determined not to be angels with human forms and wings.
Nor is the public aware of the pre-biblical origins of Cherubim. The
representations of cherubim as young children with halos and wings arose
in Renaissance Europe, and are based on still earlier representations
found in Roman art forms.'
From the evidence of the ark weighing
four tons, stated in (See Ark of the Covenant), and from the comprehensive
evidence of the Bible, Torah, Talmud and Legends of the Jews, it is now
possible to build a physical model of how the original Ark looked, see
Fig.1.
In total the ark required an incredible
amount of energy to levitate, far in excess of any ordinary battery or
static electricity source could ever supply. The question is, from what
form of perpetual power source did the activating energy come from? Today
we have the machines to generate sufficient electrical and mechanical
energy to equal the power output of the ark, but unfortunately we do not
possess the levitation technology, unless of course we could locate the
original ark. Further evidence of the Ark of
the Covenant power source.
Radiation burns (emerods) and
fatalities caused by the Ark And the men that died not were smitten with the emerods: and the cry of

Will the
original Ark of the Covenant be found? We now have
the scientific technology. It is just a
